NAME: Bijar Persian Rug
 SKU: 2507SAD1074

Persian Bidjar rugs, often referred to as “Iron Rugs,” are high-quality handwoven pieces originating from the city of Bidjar in northwestern Iran. They are renowned for their exceptional durability, density and strength, qualities that make them some of the most hard-wearing rugs in the world. Bidjar weavers use a unique technique where each knot is packed down extremely tightly, creating a dense, firm pile. Combined with the use of high-quality sheep’s wool, this results in a rug that can withstand heavy foot traffic for decades.
