This is an excellent background rug for a room that wants to highlight other furnishings such as paintings, ornaments, etc. The design is traditional, with a central medallion surrounded by long appendages on a floral field. To create an unobtrusive rug, a soft mole-like colour with cream is used. This rug was hand-knotted in high-quality wool by renown artisans with inherited skills.
