This is a beautiful Persian design of a central medallion with teardrops with large corners & surrounded by a ‘palmette’ border. This vintage rug was made in a classic Persian style by skilled rugmakers with a long history behind them.  Pastel colours of pinks and blues are hand knotted in wool on a cotton foundation. This rug is in excellent condition & is suitable for any elegant room traditional or modern.
