NAME: Vintage Saddle Bag
SKU: 60425

Saddlebags were handwoven accessories made by nomadic tribal people exclusively for practical reasons to help transport items.  They are used to store goods safely on donkeys. horses & camels.  They are decorative with 2 pouches attached at both ends of a hand knotted or hand woven piece (kelim). They are often used in home décor – hung over a banister, at the back of a lounge chair (to keep magazines etc.), on an upright chair (padding both pouches like cushions).  Saddlebags have become very collectible.
