NAME: Chobi Kilim
"Kilim' refers to a type of rug which are pileless handwoven & reversible. They are flat woven instead of being knotted and have a very low pile which is ideal to go under doors and furniture.
They are made by tribes who use simple motifs for protection and symbolise good luck. The modern Chobi kilims are naturally coloured using vegetable dye and its wool is extremely durable and hard-wearing.
To maintain the condition and extend the life of your rug, vacuum them regularly. For long term protection against Sun Fade, Wear, Mould and Permanent stains we recommend using our Rug Protection service.
For hard-to-remove stains professional care is recommended, contact House of Haghi's Cleaning Services at 09 529 5151
