 NAME: Seraban Persian Runner
 SKU: 20892

Seraband is as town in western Iran located between Arak and Bourijind .  These rugs have an allover ‘boteh’ design – characterized by small pear or leaf forms (reminiscent of the paisley design).  These forms are placed in diagonal rows allover the central panel. A fine feature of Seraband rugs are their wide borders, consisting of a small main border surrounded by a large number of narrow guards.  Seraband rugs are rustic in design, thus very suitable for modern as well as traditional homes. Quality wool is used in Seraband rugs to hand knot the wool onto a cotton foundation.
