NAME: Traditional Rug Red
 SKU: 2112HA115

Khal Mohammadi rugs are handmade in northern Afghanistan using soft sheep’s wool. They’re known for their deep colours and strong, durable weave, making them both practical and beautiful.

These rugs take their name from the Khal Mohammadi tribe, who have a long tradition of rug making. The designs often feature bold geometric patterns like octagons, diamonds and squares each one inspired by tribal symbols and Afghan culture.

The colours are usually rich reds, dark blues and earthy tones, all made with natural dyes. Each rug carries a sense of tradition and craftsmanship, adding warmth and depth to any space.
