NAME: Persian Nain Rug
SKU: 21553
Nain is a town situated in central Iran, which is famous for its rug designs. This design has a stunning, intricate central medallion, reminiscent of mosque ceilings. All-over 'islimi' (curvilinear floral tendrils) are scattered across the ground. The knot density is high. Traditional colours of blue and cream from top-quality wool have been used by craftsmen to produce this hand-knotted rug.
