Nejafabad is known as one of the villages situated near the well known city of Isfahan renowned for their supreme quality rugs.  The classic design of the orange-red medallion is placed on a deep blue field filled with an abundance of large flowers scattered throughout. A sturdily constructed rug of sheep’s wool with a good length pile.  This rug has been hand knotted by weavers with skills handed down in the family.
