NAME: Persian Heriz Rug
 SKU: 2503SAD761

This Giravan Heriz rug comes from the village of Giravan in northwest Iran’s renowned Heriz region, known for producing rugs that are both highly durable and full of character.

Hand-knotted by skilled artisans using traditional Persian techniques, each knot is carefully tied by hand in soft hand-spun wool on a sturdy cotton foundation. The design features a bold central medallion surrounded by angular floral motifs and intricate borders, all beautifully balanced.

The rich colour palette of deep reds, navy, ivory, and soft sage is created using natural dyes, which mellow gracefully over time and develop a warm, inviting patina. This rug combines expert craftsmanship with tribal heritage, making it a timeless piece that brings warmth, depth, and personality to any interior.
