NAME: Shiraz Persian Rug
 SKU: 2507SAD1180

Persian Shiraz rugs are traditional hand-knotted carpets woven in and around the city of Shiraz, in Iran’s Fars Province. Created by nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes such as the Qashqai, these rugs reflect generations of weaving tradition and cultural heritage.

Woven from high-quality sheep’s wool, often hand-spun and naturally dyed, Shiraz rugs are admired for their durability, soft texture and warm, earthy colours that mature beautifully over time. Their bold geometric patterns and tribal motifs draw inspiration from nature and daily life, giving each piece a distinctive character.
