This genuine Persian carpet has been knotted by hand, from precious sheep wool and natural silk. It has been made in the city of Nain well known for its blue and cream rugs. The city is situated at the western end of the desert Dasht-e-Kavir. Nain rugs usually have a cotton foundation with a very soft wool or wool and silk pile.
