This is a Hatchloo Afghan Turkman rug. Use of two strong geometric squares that represent windows. These rugs were originally made for entrances of tents for nomadic people. Sturdily hand-knotted in wool by tribal people, originally were part of the well-known Turkman tribe. Made from hand spun wool and natural dyes.
