NAME: Viss Persian Rug
SKU: 2204PA238

Hand-knotted Persian rug from the town of Viss (Wiss), located in northwestern Iran near the Hamadan region.

The design features a richly detailed all-over geometric field composed of repeating tribal motifs and stylised medallion elements, creating a balanced, visually intricate composition. Angular floral forms, diamond shapes, and traditional Herati-inspired details are woven throughout, framed by a bold, multi-layered border with complementary guard stripes.

Defined by deep terracotta and brick tones, the palette is enhanced with navy, ivory, and subtle accents, giving the rug a warm, grounded presence. The bold contrasts and dense patterning add depth and character, making it a striking yet timeless piece and a distinctive tribal aesthetic built for both beauty and longevity.
