Unlike most Turkish rugs Ushak carpets have been greatly influenced by Persian designs. They have been popular for centuries as they look & feel sumptuous & luxurious. The design of Usak rugs is angular large-scale floral patterns. This rug has been hand knotted in quality sheep's wool.
