The village of Yalameh close to the town of Abadeh, is halfway between Isafan and Shiraz in Iran. The rugs they produced were traditionally sold to the Qashqai people in their north/south seasonal migration. Since the mid-twentieth century, commercial production started in the villages of Yalameh and Abadeh with traditional Qashqai designs being adopted along with cotton for warps and wefts. Yalameh carpets more resemble Khamseh designs with hooked medallions arranged in the field.
